Our visit started with a wonderful experience in the dining hall where students could choose from options ranging from soups and salad, to Asian cuisine to pizza and many more! I think their most favorite part was the dessert bar and the Gelato, an Italian Ice cream :0)
We then moved on to the Engineering building where they learned about Digital Fabrication and 3-D printing, plastics and injection molding, the engineering behind a homemade artbot, a type of silly putty and metals. This was one of my favorite field trips with the students!
The Alfred University staff was nothing sort of exceptional, the college students and staff were warm and inviting. A few students even said they wanted to go to college there!
