171 Cedar Arts Center teaching A-3 students improv theater and self-confidence

171 Cedar Arts Center has been nothing short of wonderful to the students here at Bradford. They were here over the winter introducing them to basic print and book making techniques. This time, Rhonda, an actor/poet from Corning offered her time and passion for theater.
She only visited us three times so far, but there has already been an improvement in some students when communicating feelings. She really did a wonderful job and I can't wait to have her back!
Rhonda is introducing the students to improv, they were nervous at first!

Really cool silent follower activity.

Field trip to Rock Ventures!

After our trip to the George Eastman House, we got to explore Rock Ventures and take part in a team building challenge. It was awesome to see the students (and some staff!) step outside of their comfort zones to achieve their goals, some of them even got the ring the bell on the most challenging course there! Very proud of the students in all their accomplishments on this trip.... enjoy the pictures!

Getting ready to climb for the first time!

Arlena was the first girl to ring the bell on the hardest course. Great job!

Rileigh was the second girl!

Elijah was the first one to ring the bell.... he's a fast climber and didn't get him in the action!

Miss Bev loved this trip!

Miss Liz loves rock climbing!
